In Her Own Words

I understand that you might be feeling embarrassed, uneasy, confused, angry, frustrated, or just plain uninspired, and that’s OK! My approach is based on collaboration; I will meet you where you’re at to help you get to where you want to be. My intent is to become a companion on your journey rather than simply the tour guide, and my aim is to promote better understanding and self-awareness so that you may enjoy your sexuality rather than set it aside out of fear or guilt.

I do this work because I believe that everybody deserves the right to live authentically, and the ability to relate to ourselves and each other is a large part of doing so. We live in a society in which repressing our sexual identities, desires, and energies is not only commonplace, but outright expected, and this wreaks havoc on our relationships, our emotions, and our sense of well-being.

I bring a great amount of enthusiasm and vitality to my work, and my diverse life experiences have equipped me with a diverse range of approaches, from direct and disciplined to energetic and empathetic, through which we can build your toolbox of positive skills for living an emotionally healthy and fulfilling life.

I’ve worn a number of labels in my life and have worked hard to achieve specific goals, thinking that degrees, certifications, and a plethora of credentials would validate who I am and what I do. What I found along the way is that this approach was flawed; that what I’ve done is not the same as who I am, and that it’s who I am that really matters. Intuition and connection are infinitely more meaningful than any achievements or credentials ever could be for me.

I believe that the more a culture promotes the production and spread of knowledge and connection, rather than just the exchange of goods and services, the better off we become. Accordingly, I do not think of myself as a service provider; I consider myself a facilitator of the production and spread of knowledge. When that knowledge is about ourselves and who we are as authentic beings, I believe we grow more into ourselves and contribute more richly to society.
